Hi to all ! First I have to apologize for my writing. I am using English as language since in French I only would know a few words - definitely not enough to talk with you about our beloved hobby: RC scalers and crawlers. To my person: I am 46 years old, married, one daughter (9 years) and living in Switzerland. To my rc cars: I am mainly in the rc scaler hobby and started about one year ago. I usually enjoy the hobby in three parts: Part 1 is the build process. At home, in the hobby room, mostly at night hours.. Part 2 is the driving process. Out in the nature and if possible with other crazy dudes.. Part 3 is the movie making process. This is way I am documenting my work. Instead of taking pictures and movies to put them on my own files, I am trying to make enjoyable movies with my scalers and show them on YouTube for you guys.. If you like to come over and have a closer look, here's my channel: http://www.youtube.com/TomsRCScalers I am reading your threads with passion, (and sometimes with Google Translate ) and when writing I will have to switch to English. However, have a great time, always pure fun and let's stay in contact. Salut a tous! Tom
Welcome on RCCF forum ! Your english is easy to read so it's ok for me but i don't know if any members could answer. I like a lot your "3 parts process", same as me when you are talking about building Rcs by night From which part of Switzerland you come from ?
Salut Teddy et Alex Thank you very much for the warm welcome! I am living in the central/north part of Switzerland. The town is called Aarau. Most of my videos were taken in the surrounding where I am living.
Hey Tom, I had a look at some of your videos over the last few weeks and I admit that I like them a lot. Especially the smart use of PoV within the car or outside. Really nice job. Keep going buddy. Cheers, Fred-
Again thank you so much all of you - I'm really impressed - this is fabulous community! I'm happy to be here..
Thank you very much guys! For the FPV sequences I am using a GoPro Hero silver and just some tape for a temporarily fixation.
