1. Hello everyone! I make this 3D model for my Axial SCX10 III chassis. For print i use PLA filament. Planing install this 1.9" wheels with Mud Thrashers tyres. Front grill 3D printed on Resin 3D Printer. My next step is interior design and printing of small body elements. This includes wipers, handles, headlights, as well as headlight glasses. I also need to figure out how to mount the body. I plan to use magnets, but I don't know how reliable it will be. I still have a lot of work to do on the surface treatment before painting, as 3D printing is not perfect.
Hi ! Great job, looks good ! Speaking of magnets, I use this on my Bronco ABS shell and it works well. I just made a backing and glued in the shell with hot glue. The strength of the magnets is sufficient to hold the body in place, really great as a system compared to the clips.
2. Hello everyone, I'm continuing my project. Over the weekend, I patched up the places where the parts were glued together. Also received 1 K primer to cover the model. I am looking forward to the delivery of the chassis on which this model will be put.
3. Hello everyone, well, the stage of preparing the body for painting. I used 1K primer with filler. After priming and sanding, the disadvantages of printing and assembly became better visible.
Very nice work and great body ... Lada Niva is a iconic small 4x4, love it I can't wait to see the next step ...
